The diet is the basis for a dog's health. I myself give the dogs a high-quality chunk with a high animal protein content (Platinum) in the morning. In the evening they get meat, a KVV (ready fresh meat), I use a brand that has a so-called premix added to.  In addition, you have to be alert to the ratio of vitamins A and D: it must be balanced 10:1. Because liver (contains vitamin A) is also processed in the meat it is good when the premix increases the said ratio for vitamin D, for example 9.5:1. Too much vitamin A can cause cripple and deformity of the skeleton.

There are many kinds of food that must not be given to a dog, the most important are:

  • chocolate and caffeine
  • grapes, currants and raisins
  • Xylitol
  • kernels of stone fruits and avocado
  • Ui
  • night damage (such as raw potatoes and tomato)
  • mushrooms
  • peppers and eggplant
  • raw pork

When you doubt, always look up on the internet.
